In exactly 24 hours, I’m heading up to the northernest part of MA, practically New Hampshire, to buy a 2008 Ford Crown Vic P71.

I can’t make the minutes and hours move quickly enough. I legit might just go to bed at like 8 to pass the time faster.

It’s been years since my DD has been something that’s also a hobby car, and something that works right. Last 5 dailys in order and their malfunction:

2003 Honda Civic EX, slipping clutch.

2000 Ford F-150, has 250k miles and feels like it.

2000 Audi allroad quattro. Come on.

2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4. Spent more time being misdiagnosed in the shop than being driven. Blew an intake manifold gasket the one time I ever raced somebody with it.

1989 Mercedes Benz 560 SEL. Actually a very cool car that I regret selling, but you wouldn’t call it fun.

I'll update tomorrow with a bunch of pictures and a review of my 120 mile ride home. Just way too damn excited over here.

Thanks! That’s one of the things I’m looking for. A reliable DD with a nice sounding V8 that I can put a child seat in. It ticks all those boxes, and I like the way it looks.

I loved the one my parents had years ago. First car I learned to drive in, and first car I crashed. Having people get out of your way on the highway is great. Also what part of MA? I’ll be at the shop in the North Shore tonight working on the CX9 tonight.

Yea West of 495 is just West. North East is the coast. This should help.
